Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the mechanical product architecture for security video cameras.
  • Translate product requirements into mechanical concepts within a multidisciplinary team, with quality as a primary focus.
  • Break down system-level requirements into lower-level/subsystem requirements.
  • Analyze customer requirements to ensure they are realistic and feasible, creating a viable product from scratch ready for industrialization.
  • Safeguard the functionality, performance, quality, reliability, and manufacturability of products.
  • Define necessary test procedures to verify and validate designs.
  • As a senior team member, maintain an overview of mechanical systems, review concepts, and provide feedback within your area of expertise.
  • Coach and guide younger team members, supporting the team with complex problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in the development of complex products.
  • The ability to balance business needs with quality requirements.
  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art development techniques and CAD software, preferably CREO.
  • Proficiency in proving designs through calculations and simulations.
  • Experience with common manufacturing processes such as sheet metal, plastic injection molding, machining, die casting, etc., particularly for miniaturized parts.
  • Knowledge of coatings and surface treatments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills within complex systems.
  • Participation in continuous improvement projects within your team.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for mechanical hardware development.
