Your goal 

As a Coordinator Research & Development, you will coordinate all activities in the commercial testing team. The Commercial testing team has approximately five people and is part of the R&D department that develops new solutions for the global water market. You will help customers meet sustainability targets, optimize plant performance, or reduce operational costs by reducing water and energy use. Examples of current projects are the application of green chemicals for wastewater treatment, designing wastewater treatment solutions for biofuel production and optimization of biogas production with new feed stocks.

What will you be doing? We have listed it for you:

  • Coordinate all activities in the R&D.
  • Translating design problems into research questions.
  • Carrying out lab research.
  • Reporting and presenting research results and making recommendations for process design.
  • Working together with customers and external partners.

What we’re looking for

  • You hold a MSc degree in chemical, process or environmental technology or a similar field and have at least 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Broad knowledge of all commonly applied technologies in the field of industrial water treatment.
  • Able to perform and supervise water, sludge and wastewater analyses, analyzing, processing and reporting data.
  • To be able to successfully fulfill this position, you must also have the following competencies: structured, result oriented, communicative, creative, curious, and proactive.
  • You have a business-driven mind set; the ability to interact with commercial and technical disciplines.

Working with us means

  • The salary range for this position is at a 40-hour workweek, depending on your professional experience, is between € 3.685,- and € 5.565,- gross per month. You can still grow within this position up to a salary of € 6.340,- per month.
